Holly Young is a Cornish-based hat designer, specialising in contemporary, bespoke millinery for weddings, fashion and special events. Her work incorporates an informed knowledge of modern and period hat design with her own acute sense of detail and beauty, allowing her to create unique, daintily elegant hats, fascinators and headbands.

Graduating in Costume Design for the Performing Arts from the London College of Fashion in 2006, Holly lived and worked in London for five years before moving back to Cornwall, where she grew up. She interned with the English National Opera Millinery department and worked for avant-garde milliner Justin Smith. Her first collection was sponsored by the Prince’s Trust who continue to work closely with her to develop the business.

Holly Young Hats are currently sold from Opium in Truro, Bride! In Penzance, La Belle Boutique and Pirates and Roses in Bristol and from Hope and Harlequin in Brighton, as well as from the Online Shop and on commission via the Contact section. Though specialising in eye-catching wedding accessories, Holly is more than happy to hold consultations regarding commissions, in order to create the perfect finishing touch to outfits for any occasion.
